At just 296 square feet, the Yukon by Zook Cabins feels more like a cozy mountain lodge suite than a traditional tiny house.
This 12' x 29' park model uses tall vaulted ceilings, warm wood finishes, large windows, and a stone fireplace to give its open interior plenty of character. With a king-size bed, compact kitchenette, full bathroom, and plenty of natural light, the Yukon feels especially well suited for a vacation property or short-term rental. Just inside the front door is a small but useful entry nook with a bench and hooks for coats.
It creates a dedicated place to remove shoes or store outdoor gear before entering the main living space—a particularly practical feature if the Yukon is placed near hiking trails, mountains, or another outdoor destination.

The kitchenette runs along the hallway and keeps things intentionally simple.
The display model includes a mini fridge, microwave, sink, floating shelf, cabinet storage, and a dedicated coffee corner. There isn't a built-in cooktop or oven in this particular unit, reinforcing the Yukon’s short-term-rental feel, although a portable induction cooktop or convection oven could make simple meals possible.

The main room is easily the highlight of the Yukon.
A king-size bed sits beneath the vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling with bedside tables and reading lights on either side. Across from it, a stone accent wall incorporates an electric fireplace and mounted TV, adding to the lodge-inspired atmosphere.
Large windows and a sliding glass door bring in plenty of daylight, while a corner chair creates a small place to relax away from the bed. On a scenic property, that sliding door could also open onto a deck overlooking the mountains, woods, or water.

An open closet in the corner provides hanging space, room for luggage, and shelving for linens or other belongings.
It isn't an extensive storage setup, but for weekend stays or vacation rentals, there's enough room to unpack without cluttering the main living area.

The bathroom continues the darker, cozier lodge aesthetic with tile extending across the walls and into the shower.
There is a vanity, traditional flushing toilet, linen storage, and a tiled shower with a rainfall showerhead. A separate wall heater also helps keep the bathroom comfortable during colder weather.

The Yukon feels purpose-built for anyone who prioritizes experience over having a traditional residential floor plan.
Instead of squeezing in separate rooms, Zook Cabins devoted much of the footprint to a spacious king-size sleeping area with tall ceilings, large windows, and a fireplace. Combined with the luxurious bathroom and compact kitchenette, it feels especially fitting for a mountain getaway, vacation cabin, or couples' short-term rental.

At only 296 square feet, it's one of Zook Cabins' smaller park models—but the vaulted ceiling and open layout help it feel much larger.
Would you spend a weekend in a tiny mountain-lodge-inspired cabin like this?
